It seems that the judge who recently (and correctly) ruled "that while withholding marriage licenses from gays and lesbians has been the status quo, it constitutes discrimination the state can no longer justify".

Of course the next thing you can expect is the GOoPers to be shouting and snorting about radical "Activist Judges" and how the leftist machinations of such a rabblerouser shouldn't be taken seriously.

The judge who made the decision is a Catholic Republican appointed by Republican Pete Wilson in '96.
