Believe in THIS

What do you get when you cross a Hasidic Jew, reggae and rap? You get the smoothest, most soulful mother trucker around. You get Matisyahu.

I aint bullshitin ya. This cat can drop the shit on a dime -- and he does it with the sincerity of a highly devout man. You can shake your ass or you can contemplate the deeper meaning of things - Matisyahu is there for you.

His "Live From Stubbs" album just came out. Check it. A brand new album will be out soon.

Ok, I know it sounds freaky... really it does ... but the dude got SKILLZ. So, please, check him out ASAP.

Coming attractions part two....

Maybe it was better that Kerry lost. My goodness. I need a Blackberry just to keep up with the various Republican scandals... can you say: CULTURE OF CORRUPTION.

So, anyway, some say (like how I say that, just like Fox News) some say that ole Duke Cunningham (douche California Republican who took more than 2 million bucks in bribes from a defense contractor) wore a wire - and that some other asses are gonna fry.

Between this and Abramoff-gate, will there be any Republicans left in Congress before the 2006 elections? One wonders.

Coming attractions ??

This could get VERY exciting in the Hoosier state.

Might Indiana become to Roe v. Wade what Kansas is Creationism in the classroom? I hope so. Let's get this fuckin thing started. If the Republicans are SERIOUS about outlawing abortion rights and if its not always just been a ruse to get the Evangelicals to vote for em - let em put their money down.

Lawmaker's goal: Overturn Roe v. Wade

KICK ASS

As I loved the old (and quite shit) show when I was a bit younger... so I do love the update (and it's hardly shit).

Battlestar Galactica. That's right. Season 2.5 started tonight.

It's a retelling of the original show. Man creates Cylons, Cylons rebel, Cylons are defeated in war against mankind, Cylons leave, Cylons evolve to look and act like man, Cylons attack, humankind is destroyed save one old military ship and a "rag tag fugitive fleet" (that's from the original, I can still hear old Alpo man saying those words) with a total of 45k+ humans left alive searching for a 13th Colony (Earth) that might or might not exist.

Anyway, if you dig Sci-Fi at all - check it out. It's a good show. Well acted, very respectable writing, and some cool effects (especially for a TV show)... and me thinks it a great story.

Plus, it's got hot chicks... and Edward James Olmos (who, while hardly hot, is a great character actor).
