Wolfie the magnanimous banker ?

UPDATE: 3/16/05 - CNN.com reports that ShrubCo will indeed announce Wolfie as head of the World Bank.

Wolfowitz as the head of the World Bank?

The World Bank, made up of 184 member countries, is "a development Bank which provides loans, policy advice, technical assistance and knowledge sharing services to low and middle income countries to reduce poverty".

Basically it's duty is to find the best way that the rich countries can help the poor countries and make sure that every citizen of the planet has the basic necessities of life.

I don't know about you, but when I think of the one person that best combines the attributes of benevolence, knowledge of world finance, and international renown - the one person I can't stop thinking about is Wolfie of Arabia.
